Search Tips:
Pheromone Searches:
If your search for pheromones resulted in no matches or a very short list of items and you are unable to find the chemical you are looking for, try searching the Pherolist at http://www.nysaes.cornell.edu/pheronet.
Their database lists, in phylogenetic order, components identified in sex glands of female Lepidoptera and any other chemicals reported as attractants of male moths. You can then return to our site to search our catalog based on the chemical name.
Catalog Searches:
To search our database, choose any one of the search features, enter the words you are looking for (using a space to separate words) and click on Go to view a listing of products meeting your search criteria. If the search results in no matches found, or a very short list of products, try a different word, or shortening your current word(s).
For example, if you are looking for an unsaturated C10 alcohol, enter DECEN-1-OL as the product name in the Search by KeyWord area. If you do not find what you are looking for, try DECEN to broaden your search.
If broadening your search still results in no matches, use the Browse Entire Product Catalog option to look through every piece of information on file in our database.
Odor/Use Searches:
The odor/use description search allows you to search on words like citrus to match orange, lemon, grapefruit, etc. Or, you can limit your search by using a specific word like grapefruit.
Your Comments are Welcome:
